This year’s Cannes Palme d’Or winner is the latest film from Iranian director, Jafar Panahi. In this revenge thriller Panahi explores retribution against oppressive captors through his characters actions. Vahid, an Azerbaijani auto mechanic, who was once imprisoned by Iranian authorities, acts when Eghbal, a man Vahid believes to be one of his former torturers enters his workshop.
